The Project’s Affiliation with Teachers College

Many of the teachers and administrators who are affiliated with Teachers College Reading and Writing Project, as well a number of our staff developers, have roots at Teachers College, the nation’s oldest and largest graduate school of education. Some TCRWP staff now teach courses at Teachers College while others are students at Teachers College. In addition to her role as director of the TCRWP, Lucy Calkins is the Robinson Professor in Children’s Literature at Teachers College, and co-director of the Literacy Specialist Program.
