The Benedict Silverman Foundation, Lucy Calkins, and the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project have teamed up three years ago to bring Reading Rescue™ to over 35 TCRWP schools. Reading Rescue™ supports our most vulnerable children by providing intensive reading training for teachers, assistant teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and volunteers so they can provide individualized tutorials aimed at accelerating students’ reading progress.
