Like all of you, I am reeling.
It is all incomprehensible. As you can imagine, the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project staff are also reinventing ourselves, aiming to find the best ways to support teachers and families as we all grapple with new scenarios for teaching and learning.
We’ll have more to share soon about the possibility of think tanks and study groups and PD time and writing groups with TCRWP staff. In the meantime, please remember that how we respond to difficulties is a choice. We can decide to make the most of this, to use the challenges as opportunities to show our students the power of literacy in their lives and in our communities.
